LA CERCA - A NICE SWEET GETAWAY

A sonic slideshow of multiple dimensions.  A living room performance with beautiful flaws, looped guitars and ever emotion under a desert sun.

 

An endless source of inspiration has taken an unexpected excursion while learning and experimenting with a 2 track recording device.  Mostly improvisational compositions (although not all) were melded together in sonic waves of fuzz, delay and modulation.  Curiosity in intimate microphone situations while achieving the essence of the musical movement in the room, also known as "the vibe".

 

An empathic sensitivity to an unrest walking the underbelly after a protest, a personal voyage of love and memory reflecting on life's travels, a sense of accomplishment and staying in the light, a summer haze, a cry for rain in the desert, the art of inspiration is the love we create, the freedom it allows in the present moment, the frustration of having your only means of transportation stolen, a bike ride in the cold, a transcending lift of the mind, body and spirit and a nice sweet getaway.
